Daniel Coull is a South African typeface designer based in Montreal, Canada. He is a co-founder of Public Letters, a duo-operated type design and research practice.
In 2021, he co-designed the typeface Climate Crisis, which has a home in the permanent collection at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Also available on Google Fonts. Daniel is currently a Kone Foundation 2025 and 2021 artistic research grant recipient.
